MTÜ Edela Eesti Arenduskeskus is promoting a call for participants for a Youth Exchange called "Prejucios fronterizos” which will take place on the 10th until 20th August 2013 in Sanlúcar de Barrameda, Spain.
We want to answer these questions about discriminations, prejudices and stereotypes in different workshops, dynamics and games that help us to reflect on how and why the previous ideas regarding nationality, colour, religion, appearances, etc influence positively or negatively the way we behave with the rest of the people. Sometimes, we may feel or think that Germans are better, that Romanians are all gipsies, that Spanish are lazy… This leads us to ask if all cultures/nationalities/countries, people.. are equal, if there is a superior culture in Europe or in the world. We will share our experiences on discrimination and make our own conclusions, that later we will publish.
We will also do ice-breaking games and trusting games to know each other and create a good atmosphere, in a camp for 3 or 4 days to close group to work together, and we will share our cultures in the nights to know traditional food, dancing, music… Later we will go to town to continue developing the topic, with more games, workshops and some visits.
