After stressful day, you comeback to home, eating some cold fried chicken and watching some stressful news on tube soon going to bed. And in the middle of the night you walk up and asking: Who is shaking my bed?
And what if its not only your bed is shaking?
The youth exchange will create atmosphere of solidarity, unity and responsibility and mutual understanding among young people from different European countries, in the states of emergency situations like hurricane, water flood and especially earthquake which is wide in South-East of Turkey which is situated in B class earthquake zone and which is one of the tectonically active regions of the Turkey and it is one of the poorest and most disadvantaged regions in Turkey.
By using non-formal education tools like outdoor activities, simulation games and workshop related with themes of our project youth people will be trained how to act, and what to do in the emergency situation and develop sense of steadiness, strength and responsibility to act in such situations.
This event will bring together 32 participants from European Union countries (Turkey, Bulgaria, Estonia, Spain, and Romania). The event will be held in English. There are 6 vacancies available and participants should have minimum 18 years old.
The Youth in Action programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse the participants with 70% of the travel costs. There will be a participation fee of 30 Eur per participant.
