Edela Eesti Arenduskeskus is promoting a call for participants for a Training Course training course “When Social Meet Rights” which will take place from 15th until 22nd October 2012 in Montijo (Lisbon area), Portugal.
The training course When Social Meet Rights is a 6 days Training Course, which was developed as a module for youth workers/trainers to help them to answer their questions concerning the (Social) rights issues and its implementation in their communities. Have the European Social Charter as base and background; we will approach the idea of Social Rights in different levels: Housing, Education, Health, Employment, Non-Discrimination, Legal and Social Protection and Movement of Persons. The idea is to support the professional development of young activists and to raise the quality of their projects concerning Social Rights in disadvantage communities.
We will work group discussions, studycase, examples and community in practice. Together, we will be working on improving the “good exmaples” on how to motivate youngsters aware and active on their community and beyond.
This event will bring together 28 participants from different European Union countries. The event will be held in English. There are 2 vacancies available and participants should have minimum 18 years old.
The Youth in Action programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse the participants with 70% of the travel costs. There will be a participation fee of 30 Eur. per participant.
