Edela Eesti Arenduskeskus is promoting a call for participants for a Partnership Building Activity called “Removing Barriers in front of the Youth Employment” which will take place from 12th until 17th November 2012 in Istanbul, Turkey.
The project targeting youth workers, youth leaders and those working for the elimination of unemployment among young people will gather participants of 11 European countries to address the challenges and opportunities related to youth unemployment and social exclusion in Europe.
Through a structured programme of activities and based on a range of non-formal methods (interactive discussions, role plays, team work, world cafe method, ateliers designed to foster interactive dialogues, brainstorming), this project aims at developing participants’ knowledge in the field of European unemployment while addressing the challenges and opportunities resulting from youth unemployment and social exclusion through the presentations of each participant country. Undoubtfully, sharing country specific examples regarding youth unemployment will provide opportunity for the exchange of experience and good practice in youth work and will foster reflection on different dimensions of youth unemployment and social exclusion in Europe.
This event will bring together 22 participants from different 11 European Union countries (Portugal, France, Italy, Hungary, Bulgaria, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovenia, Romania, Estonia and Turkey). The event will be held in English. There are 2 vacancies available and participants should have minimum 18 years old.
The Youth in Action programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse the participants with 70% of the travel costs. There will be a participation fee of 30 Eur. per participant.
All the interested people should fill the application form below. The application form must be sent to [email protected]
